How Freelance Cleaners Can Present Their Services Online

You do not need a complicated website to present cleaning services professionally. You need a profile that answers the client's main questions quickly and truthfully.

Use a clear headline

Choose a headline based on service and location, not unsupported claims:

Independent condo and home cleaner serving Makati and Pasay

Avoid "No. 1," "best," "certified," "insured," or "verified" unless you can prove the exact claim. "Professional" can also create expectations, so support it with clear processes and actual experience rather than decoration.

Write a short, specific introduction

In three or four sentences, explain:

  • whether you work independently or with a team;
  • the services you accept;
  • the areas you serve;
  • the languages you can actually use with clients; and
  • whether you bring supplies and equipment.

Example:

I am an independent cleaner offering general condo cleaning, move-in/move-out cleaning, and short-term rental turnover in selected Makati and Pasay areas. I bring basic cleaning supplies by arrangement. Deep cleaning and appliance interiors are quoted separately after I check the unit size and condition.

Show a service menu, not a promise to do everything

List three to six services with a short scope. If you do not handle post-construction dust, mould, high windows, or biohazards, say so. Clear limits make you look more reliable, not less capable.

Display a price, a starting price with conditions, or the information needed for a quotation. "PM for price" creates extra messages and makes comparison difficult. If the amount changes by size or condition, explain that beside the starting rate.

Create safe and honest visual proof

Use your own photos and obtain client permission. A useful portfolio can include:

  • neatly prepared tools and labelled supplies;
  • before-and-after images without identifying details;
  • a properly made bed or organised turnover setup;
  • cleaned kitchen or bathroom surfaces; and
  • a simple checklist or price card.

Do not show faces, passports, mail, medicine, valuables, family photos, access cards, unit numbers, or security systems. Never copy an image from another business or use a stock photo as proof of your own work.

Explain qualifications accurately

If you hold a TESDA National Certificate, name the exact qualification and verify that it is current where relevant. Housekeeping NC II covers defined housekeeping competencies; it is not a general licence for every cleaning activity and does not prove business registration, insurance, identity clearance, or building authorization.

If you have no certificate, do not invent one. You can still show truthful experience, references with permission, work processes, service limits, and training completed.

Make contact safer for both sides

Do not post your full home address, personal ID number, ID photo, birthdate, or sensitive documents publicly. A directory or potential client may need documents privately for verification, but public social posts should contain only necessary contact and service information.

Before accepting a job, obtain the area, property type, scope, date, access rules, pets, and special conditions. Send a written quote and confirmation. Share the client's address only with the assigned worker, and do not post it afterward.

Keep different claims separate

These statements do not mean the same thing:

  • Identity checked: a named identity document was reviewed.
  • Business registered: a relevant registration document exists.
  • TESDA certified: the person holds a specified TESDA qualification.
  • Approved by a directory: the directory applied its own review criteria.
  • Recommended by a client: an identifiable client gave feedback under the applicable rules.

Explain only what is true. A badge without a definition can mislead customers.

TESDA explains that Training Regulations define competency standards and the arrangements by which qualifications may be assessed and recognized. Providers can consult TESDA's official Training Regulations database rather than relying on social-media descriptions.

About WooriCares

WooriCares is a pre-launch Metro Manila local-services directory. Independent cleaners and businesses may submit provider information for private review. Approval is not automatic, and an application is not a job application or a promise of client work. Only profiles that complete the required review may be published under the platform's current rules.
